Chawton Parish Council has been awarded £ 8,300 from the Lottery Commission toward its recreation ground project.

This will pay for

• A new swing (so current safety standards are adhered to)
• A bicycle rack
• 3 new benches
• A basket swing. suitable for both able-bodied and disabled children alike. 

We would also like to purchase a space net (a 4M high climbing net) so additional funding is being sought. In addition a general re-furbishment is currently underway
