South Downs Boundary Confirmed

ImageHilary Benn, the environment secretary today confirmed the boundary of the South Downs National Park. As expected, Chawton has been confirmed to be within the park.

Fireworks 2008

ImageUpdated. Chawton Village will be holding its popular annual bonfire and fireworks event on Saturday 8th November 2008.

This year, the location has changed to Knickerknocker hill (behind the recreational ground)

The event will feature a selection of hot food and a bar - all located in the cricket club house.
