As you can see, Chawton has its own web site. Please take a look around.
There are two areas to the site, a public area and a registered area. The public area is for quick information for locals and visitors. The registration area provides more access to meeting minutes and other documents, extended contacts lists and allows calendar events to be added.
You will need to register (using the registration option on the login form at the bottom left), or just click on the highlighted word above if you want to access the extended information.
A number of people have expressed an interest in seeing more historic pictures of the village. currently the only pictures we have are from the "last 100 years" book, a number of pictures from the 1960's and the present day. All of which are in the picture gallery.
In order to fully use the web site, you must register with us, this is free to do and is intended for people who live in and around the village.
EHDC have put back the timetable for the short-stay travelers site until "at least Summer 2007"
A number of historic pictures dating back to circa 1910 have been published on the web site.
