The new look Chawton web site

Print PDF

Welcome to the new look Chawton village web site.

Two years after we launched this site, we have had to update to a new, faster server to cope with the increasing number of visitors we get each month. So, we took the opportunity to update to newer hosting software, which will allow for greater security and flexibility in the coming years.

You will find that the site looks a little different, but you should find that everything that you used before is still here and will work in a similar way. We have all the same news, events, advertising and historic information - in the same places.

A couple of parts of the site are a little different - for example the sliding photos on the right have been temporarily removed, but should be back soon, you may also find that the URL's for articles may have changed due to the new software. The search box in the top right corner will help you locate things quickly.

We think that everything is working properly, but if you find a problem or would like to suggest something extra for the site, then please let us know
