Chawton Open Gardens 9th & 10th June 2007

 A unique opportunity to visit a wide variety of gardens in this historic village, including the newly restored gardens of Chawton House, once the home of Jane Austen’s brother, and the Jane Austen’s House Garden. In addition up to fifteen other charming and varied village gardens, large and small. 

Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th June, from 1pm - 5.30pm 

Tickets may be purchased on the day at the village hall - £5 Adults  - Accompanied Children Free

The proceeds will benefit local Chawton projects - St Nicholas Church,  The Bells Restoration Fund, Chawton House Library and the remainder to be split between organisations in the village that require funding. If you are involved in such an organisation that could benefit from additional financial support and could spare some manhours for the event, then please contact me with early bids.
