Registering with chawton.info

ImageIn order to fully use the web site, you must register with us, this is free to do and is intended for people who live in and around the village.

Once you are registered, you will be able to :

  • Log into the site and participate fully, including providing feedback to us.
  • Obtain a full contacts list for the village
  • See agendas and minutes of parish council, village hall and other committee meetings
  • Provide a draft news item for review
    (via e-mail to one of the site managers)
  • Provide information on a forthcoming event into the village calendar
  • Provide a web link for a another Internet site

All content submitted is verified by one of the sites content manager before it is made visible to everyone.

We will not normally send you an e-mail and we will never release your e-mail address to other parties, but we may occasionally send a brief message if something really important has to be communicated. Examples would be major changes being planned by EHDC, HCC or larger planning applications that affect the village.

Once you have registered with the site, you must log in, you can do this from the login box under the the main menu. After you are logged in, your name will appear on the login box.

    We will start mid morning from the entrance to Chawton House drive, with lunch at the Greyfriar before the second half of our 11 mile walk.
    It is a fun day out, good exercise too, and a chance to meet your fellow villagers.
